Why Hugr exists
When my dad passed away from a very rapid cancer, we wanted to collect images that represented him for the memorial. Between my mother, my brother, and me, it was a scramble across iCloud, Google Photos, and a pile of USB drives. That rush sparked an idea: there had to be a better way to preserve what matters.

Hugr is Old Norse for mind and memory. It shares a root with Huginn, Odin's raven of thought, who flew across the world each day and brought back what he found. Hugr does the same for your family's photos.
